Our old stone pots come from Vietnamese artisans, lovingly following a tradition and culture of pottery that has been in place for over 6000 years.

They begin by harvesting dark clay from the local riverbeds; this is then shaped by hand and fired under extreme temperatures in a wood-fired kiln for up to 3 weeks. The skilled potters finish this process off by using a specialist technique where they sand blast the surface; this lightens the colour of the clay, each pot is highly unique as the colour lightens in sections meaning no two pots are exactly the same.

Old stone pots are perfect if you are looking for an aged look with plenty of charm and unique quality, features that can only be produced by having everything handmade by these expert potters. Their tradition of Vietnamese pottery is carried through their perfect imperfections.
