“Our impressive handmade Tuscan Terracotta pots are steeped in traditional Italian history. A historic tradition that has been passed down from father to son, dating back to the 1850s. Our pots are proudly produced in the family bloodline of Artisan Potters.

For the first time in the United Kindom, Sutton Manor Nursery has been awarded their stamp of distinction called “Maniero Di Sutton Terracotta”. This stamp is proudly applied to every single one of our handmade Tuscan terracotta pots, which are crafted from one of the oldest families of true bloodline (Tuscan Artisan Potters) that still to this day, produce terracotta traditionally.

The clay for our pots is sourced from deep within the hills of Tuscany, Italy—renowned worldwide for producing the finest quality clay. Each pot is crafted exclusively from this pure Tuscan clay, free from inferior minerals, ensuring authenticity that cannot be replicated elsewhere.
To achieve their exceptional strength, the pots undergo a meticulous firing process lasting no less than 36 hours. They are then kiln-fired at temperatures exceeding 1000°C, a method that locks in durability and creates a finish of unmatched quality.

Bring home a piece of Tuscany – These pots aren’t just containers for plants—they’re a statement of craftsmanship, heritage, and enduring elegance. Crafted in Diverse Shapes and Sizes for Every Style.

Each pot proudly carries the mark of distinction, “Maniero Di Sutton Terracotta”. The Italian artisan potter also adds a second mark to indicate the traditional hand-crafted process used during its throwing.
