Gnarled Olive Trees FAQ's

Planting Gnarled Olive Trees

As Gnarled Olive Trees come in a variety of sizes, it’s a good idea to plant them in a suitably sized pot. Once you’ve done this, pot your tree with a mix of some agricultural grit and John Innes no. 3 for the best results. Gnarled Olive Trees are extremely heavy and because of this are quite difficult to move once potted. Therefore, we recommend placing your pot in its chosen position before planting.

Caring for Gnarled Olive Trees

Gnarled Olive Trees are one of the easier plants to care for, as long as you have some minimum knowledge. This tree can be planted in full sun or in partial shade, and will withstand UK temperatures down to -15. We recommend watering your Gnarled Olive Tree at least twice a week, to ensure that the soil is moist but not waterlogged.
