Product Description

Our Tuscan Olive Trees are cultivated with meticulous care to ensure they embody the robust spirit of their native Tuscan environment. The Spanish Compact Crown variety is especially prized for its dense and lush foliage, presenting a striking silhouette that enhances any garden or patio setting.

Key Features

  • Height and Structure: Mature height of 1.75 to 1.90 meters with a naturally elegant, multi-stemmed trunk that adds an artistic touch.
  • Foliage: Lush, silvery-green leaves that are compactly arranged, providing dense coverage and year-round beauty.
  • Crown Shape: Neatly maintained Spanish compact crown that offers a clean, rounded appearance, making it a perfect fit for formal and informal gardens alike.

Growing Conditions

These trees thrive under full sun exposure, reflecting their Tuscan origins, where sunlight bathes the hillsides. They prefer well-draining soil, making them suitable for a variety of landscape settings including rock gardens and raised beds.

Care Instructions

  • Watering: Moderate watering needs that decrease once the tree is fully established. It’s important to let the soil dry out slightly between watering sessions.
  • Pruning: Minimal pruning is required. Shape lightly in early spring to maintain its compact crown and to remove any dead or unhealthy branches.
  • Fertilizing: A balanced, slow-release fertilizer applied in early spring helps support flowering and fruiting, though fruit production is limited in this ornamental variety.

Design and Styling Tips

This Tuscan Olive Tree is not just a plant but a piece of living art. Its graceful form is perfect for:

  • Solo Planting: As a standalone specimen in lawns or large containers, where it can fully express its architectural beauty.
  • Group Settings: Planted alongside other Mediterranean plants like lavender and rosemary, it creates a lush, drought-tolerant garden scape.
  • Row Planting: Ideal for lining pathways or driveways, providing a structured yet natural border.

Environmental Impact and Benefits

Adopting a Tuscan Olive Tree into your garden isn’t just an aesthetic decision but an ecological one. These trees are known for their ability to adapt to their environment, requiring less water than many ornamentals and serving as a carbon sink.
