Olive Trees are very easy plants to care for, with a minimum knowledge required… Just a little love! Please see the information below for more details on how to care for Olive trees!

Olea Europea

Common name: Olive tree

Our beautiful Spanish Olive trees come in many shapes and sizes. From the young skin to the mature ancient and gnarled trunks which can develop for hundreds of years. Our Olive trees are extremely easy to care for and they bring the beauty of the Mediterranean into your British garden. They are fantastic evergreen trees, giving luscious green and silver shades all year round. Ideal for landscapes, shop fronts, gardens & patios. Another great benefit is that they are winter-hardy and tolerant of snow. A beautiful term you may be familiar with is ” “extending somebody an Olive branch” the meaning of peace and goodwill.

As these plants are exceptionally tall, please bear in mind there may be a few minor snapped branches. (Please remove with secateurs and discard, this will not affect the health of the tree)

Assurance: All of our fantastic Olives trees are sourced from Spain and have been approved by DEFRA (Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs –  disease-free).

Our Free Delivery Service: Your delivery will arrive on your selected delivery day during a window of 9am-6pm with no time slots given. (Please call our office on the day of your delivery to receive an estimated time of arrival) Due to high demand for the FREE DELIVERY SERVICE, we are experiencing 3% rollovers to the next following working day, this may happen because of the driver's tachograph hours or the increased traffic and delivery schedules. 97% of the free deliveries are arriving on time, however we do not get an update on roll-overs from the delivery company until the following day. This means that the driver may not be able to get the good/goods to the position that you require. Factors that will affect the driver leaving your goods in your required position:
  • Different Surface Levels - steps, curbs, ramps ext...
  • Non-Hard Surfaces – stones, shingle drive, gravel ext…
  • Width restriction or obstacles in the way
  • Too far for one driver to push or pull a large tree, there for the driver will leave at the point he can get to.
If any of the above circumstances occur, this means the driver will leave the good/s at whatever point he can get to (drivers discretion) By accepting your tree to be left safe at the property whilst nobody is home means Sutton Manor Nursery cannot be held responsible for any damaged/stolen/ goods/incorrect goods. The items must be returned back to us in the same condition as they arrived in including all packaging applied as it was delivered.

Minor Damages On Trees: Please note that large trees above 2M (including the pot) are taller than the internal height of the delivery vehicle so therefore, the branches of the tree will have to bend over be and tied down. Sometimes some branches can snap, this will not affect the health of the tree in any way so please trim those branches and the tree will replenish.
